My story began almost 26 years to the date that I am pinning this article. I am currently serving a two- point charge at Pleasant Hill and Decaturville United Methodist Churches in Decaturville, TN.
I went into this call like I do every other call, with the faith of Isaiah. Isaiah 6: 8 states, “Also I heard the voice
of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, “Here am I; send me.” I know that when you ask God to order your steps, you must be ready to go when He says so. I know that He will have already prepared the place and will meet you there. God has sent me to places that I never would have dreamed of and I have delivered His word to people of many different ethnicities.
One major highlight of this charge is that we prayed for the growth of youth. He delivered that. God has been faithful.
God has beeen faithful in everything. If you tell him you will go, if you have to go all by yourself, if you ask him to order your steps, you must be sincere, because as they say, He may skip, He may hop, but He doesn't play. You must be ready to go!!!
